After postponing our original
meeting due to a storm, the group met at Moco restaurant in Mactaquac. In addition to a wonderful meal, we had door
prizes and games organized by Wendy and Leesa, our fat quarter draw and a fundraiser
auction. Thank you to Susan for organizing the fundraiser auction. A total of
$290 was raised for Chrysalis House as well as a number of items donated.
Meals on Wheels program were very thankful for the placemats that were donated. The winner of quilt was announced. Congratulations to Jessica Breau; ticket sold by Bernice Jones.
We celebrated the ten years our
guild has been in place by presenting certificates to ten year members. In addition, three individuals that organized
the quilt show and then were inspired to organize our guild were presented with
a certificate of appreciation and recognition of service. Our thanks to:

Linda made tea towels with Christmas, Easter and spring themes

Elizabeth did this bargello table runner from our November workshop
and finished another workshop project: her flag quilt, quilted by Ruth G of course. This quilt will be going to England!
Olivia made a body-pillow, pillow case with a "Frozen" theme which were all paper pieced.
She also did several paper-pieces butterflies
Olivia created this wall hanging which is the Canadian Flag and the Union Jack
Margie made a lap quilt with mittens and one for her daughter-in-law as her son doesn't want to share his with her! It was made at retreat from pieces she had.
Susan has been sewing up a storm for Christmas! She made "Snowman Window" wall-hanging from a kit from Joanne's, a table runner, finished her bargello table runner from the workshop and made a small bag for a cruise.
Susan did not stop there! She also made a pin cushion and thread catcher, a snowman wall-hanging for a sister from a Craftsy class and her sister is also getting a spring and fall one!
tip from Susan - use a board with command strips on it to hang wall hangings and use small corner pockets on the back of top corners with it.
Melanie made necessary clutch for her Mom and one for each daughter also.
Kathy H made placemats at the workshop and also a bargello table runner with poinsettias
