Below is the work done at the workshop with Karen Henry. there was a good turnout and it was really enjoyed by all!
Marcie showed us another pieced Hospice quilt
Brynn made a postcard when her mom made some and then a felted hedgehog, a squirrel and a cat.
Darcy made fifteen quilted postcards to be sold at the Barrack's craft shops this summer. She also made fifteen journal covers.
The wall-hanging Darcy did was inspired by a trip to Fundy Cairns
Melanie made "Rick Rack Rose"s from scraps and added yoyos in the centre and finished it with free motion quilting.
Julie finished her turning Twenty quilt from retreat
Julie did this "line Art" quilt for a nephew and the crib quilt for a gift with fabric she purchased last meeting from Fabric Cupboard.
Christa and Diane worked together using fabric from our comfort quilt fabric organizing workday to make this crib quilt.
Wendy has decided she loves using new techniques from the workshop and online courses to make these art quilt pieces. She may make them into a hall hanging along with the piece made for the workshop
Susan has just quit smoking and run her first 5 Km run! Way to go Susan! Below you can see her medal and the quilted wall-hanging she made to commemorate her first run.
Holly McLean still does some quilting with a group she quilts with. this beauty is made with 11/2 inch squares and teach star ahs 36 of the 1 inch squares/postage stamps .
Ruth pieced and quilted this beige and white quilt from fat quarters. It really shows the quilting nicely.
Kathy made two baby quilts . the second one is from fat quarters purchased at last months meeting!
