June Meeting

Another Zoom meeting to finish out our year. We are all hoping we can meet in person in the fall!

Linda has been very busy. She used up some scraps for this table runner and mat.

Linda was very happy to finish her fat quarter quilt which she machine quilted herself on her sewing machine!

She assures us this large farmhouse table runner is very easy.

Linda finally completed an over the door angle wall hanging (after a few years . . .) and another table runner.

Linda confesses hot days mean she stays in her basement sewing room. An excellent strategy for the heat. Here are a boot and a mason jar wall hangings.

Linda goes back to the scrap pile to make this table topper and apple coasters.

And here is a new wall hanging for summer. Thanks for sharing, Linda!

Susan F is in the middle of a pincushion craze. She has made almost 20. Very nice.

Susan F has also figured out how to make little bowls. Looks useful!

Pam and a friend made a quilt destined for Brad Malone (from his parents) from hockey jerseys and T-shirts. He has played for these teams. The biggest fan block is in honour of his grandfather who had just passed away.

Christa sent a picture of what she calls her attempted postage stamp quilt. It was so labour intensive that instead of a quilt it became a long shawl for the back of the new couch. She says her cats can happily sit there and look out the windows.

Kathy H has completed this Christmas tree. It is over 6 feet tall and has buttons sewn all over the tree so that one can actually hang ornaments on it.

Susan A has also been very busy - starting with this paper pieced quilt.

Next a chicken bag. Very cute, Susan.

Nice colour effect in this quilt.

Susan A participated in an "I'm enough" quilt along.

And she has made a quilt for a grandchild that she hopes will make an appearance someday.

Next a quilt featuring Stompin' Tom. Susan has actually quilted song lyrics on it.

Heather has two 20-year-old pieces found, finished and hung up. One is a round robin and the other is from a workshop. Always nice to reduce the UFOs.
