June Meeting and a Delicious Potluck

On June 11th the Keswick Ridge quilters met for their final meeting of our quilting year.  A Potluck meal was shared.  I once heard someone say, “But what if everyone brings the same thing?”  It hasn’t happened yet!  The variety and taste of all that great food was superb.

The big excitement of the evening was the unveiling of the Brown Bag Challenges.  As the projects were revealed it became clear that it had been a LOOOOONG time since our members had placed those four fat quarters into their brown bags.  Many of us did not recognize our own fabric once it had been turned into projects.  And what a variety of projects were made; bags and pillows and hangings and table toppers and bowls and cards and bed runners and placemats.  The stress of cutting into someone else’s fabric was worth it!
Here are the projects:

Marj's bag and fabric basket

Ella's purse

Carolyn's table topper
