Our March meeting was held at the Keswick Ridge Community Hall and few will continue there for at least a few months.
Our show and tell portion of the evening was led off by Darcy's fiddlehead wall hanging with couching instead of binding. This was a pattern from Row of the month from Christmas Crab. Darcy has been invited to display with Creative Expressions at the barracks this summer!
Darcy and her mom, Nelvana finished this quilt. Darcy did the centre "Ford" applique and Nelvana did the blocks and quilting.
Linda has been busy! she loved doing the spicy spiral table runners so did three,
two with a Christmas theme
Ruth did more pillows for her monthly challenge.
Above are "Snow" and "Love" and below is"Maple Syrup" (I am Canadian)

and her wall hanging from retreat.
Donna has kept herself busy making 11 pairs of pillowcases, and brought one
to display and used the others as gifts.
For Christmas this year Donna made a special gift for some family members. Before earing down a family home they found a crazy quilt made in 1889. The quilt was stored almost 50 years and then she dug it out, cut portions of the quilt that were still good and framed them, a great memory piece to share.
Donna also displayed blocks for her challenges.
Last year Kathy Anderson was intrigued with "Underground Railroad" patterns and their story.
Her underground railroad table runner was machine quilted and she hand quilted her finished quilt.
The quilt below was pieced by Debbie and quilted and bound by Andrea. It is a comfort quilt being given to a cancer victim.
Marcie showed a baby quilt donated by a non-member, Brenda's sister-in-law who began quilting.

and pieced it then Andrea quilted it.

Melanie finished several more challenges. for Snow, she enlarged the pattern Joyce used for her snowman wall hanging and a table runner that is "Love"
She made a Christmas quilt for her daughter and pillowcases to match.
Melanie finished quilting the top done at retreat from fabric she found at a yard sale. The completed quilt is going to a Syrian refugee family.
