Our 2022-2023 meetings kick off Show and Tell!!

 Good afternoon everyone!

What a great meeting last night - learning all of the ins and outs of our quilt show coming up later in the month - need details of that show?

See here: https://keswickridgequilters.blogspot.com/2022/09/our-2022-quilt-show.html

Melanie also showed our raffle quilt to those who had yet to see!  She's a beauty!

More information here:

We only had a few items for show and tell - everyone else was madly 'binding' for the show I bet! (haha)

First up - oh that was me - a couple of sling bags that I'm not going to show here as they are Christmas gifts!

Next we had Rosemary who used only her stash for this runner! Every bit was stash...so that she could go and buy some more!  The topper was hand quilted!  I love a good fall table runner!

Then we have Ruth - what a beauty - 1" finished squares- over 8,000 - yes thousand squares!  Great job Ruth!  What a stunner!  (I really should have had it raised up)

Betty showed this lovely table runner - stunning work! Lots of layers of applique! Betty does not recommend 'steam a seam' for this many layers - but rather something a bit thinner! It really gummed up her needle when quilting!  She quilted this herself! Lovely!

and that was it for our September meeting!!!!

As a special bonus - I'm going to include our June 2022 show and tell - not that I completely missed sharing these or anything - haha!

What a gorgeous quilt by Melanie!

Ruth showed us a lovely wall hanging that she created! Its so 'soft' and cozy!

A lovely topper from Diane!

Heather O shows us a bag!

Kathy H with her gorgeous quilt!  the back....
...................and then the front!

Beautiful quilt by Rosemary!

Sweet wall hanging also from Rosemary!

Betty D. shared this beautiful quilt!

and this one!

Betty was on a roll!!!

Thank you everyone - I apologize for the delay in posting these beautiful items! I had mistakenly thought they were posted already!!!

Happy Fall and see you at the show!

Our 2022 Quilt Show!

Join us at the Burtts Corner Lions Club on Friday, September 23 and Saturday, September 24th for a Quiltin' good time!

When: Friday September 23 2022 - 10am to 8pm

            Saturday September 24 2022 - 10am to 4pm

Join us at the Burtts Corner Lions Club on Friday, September 23 and Saturday, September 24th

for a Quiltin' good time!

After browsing over 150 beautiful quilts and other items, join us for a light refreshment in the seating area.

If our quilts inspire you to make your own - we will have several vendors on site who will be happy to help you to get your next project going!

If you just like to look and would rather someone else make it – then we have a member’s market

where our own guild members will have some of their goods for sale.

We will be selling tickets on a Quilt that our membership made collectively!

It is a beauty and would be perfect for just about any decor!

We are excited this year to host a ‘Bed turning’ presentation during the show where you will be shown a quilt and hear a little backstory about this quilt from one of our members!  Its sure to be a fun time!

Once again, our quilt show is being held at the Burtt’s Corner Lions Club Hall which is located at

42 Route 617 in Burtt’s Corner, NB.

The quilt show venue, vendors and members market are all accessible!

There will be a $5.00 admission at the door.

The show is open from 10am to 8pm on

Friday September 23 and from 10 to 4pm on Saturday September 24.

Burtt’s Corner is particularly beautiful this time of year – so come for a drive and enjoy the show!

If you have any questions about our event- please email us at krquilters@gmail.com or contact any member of our guild!
