May Meeting - Elections & Survey

May is the month we elect our new executive and we surveyed members to understand  KRQ member preferences. We talked about the upcoming quilt show plans and then moved on to show & Tell

 

This is Olivia's retreat quilt with a jelly fish appliqué

Olivia completed her Folded Star runner as one of her UFO projects

 

Ella displayed the curved log cabin quilt she made that was being raffled

to raise funds for the Ellegood family.

This is a baby's comfort quilt made by Brenda, Joy and Marcy and quilted by Tina that was donated

 to Forest Hill School to raffle for a fundraiser.

Rose-Marie did a baby quilt (above) and an Underground Railway" quilt (Below) for  Hospice that was quilted by the Ladies Morning Out Group that will be

 

Fran did this as a wedding gift for a lucky nephew!

Toni finished this huge king size quilt called "Circle Dance" as a wedding gift,

with colours requested by the fortunate couple.

Toni also completed this as her quilt show challenge for a

grandchild: quilt, PJ Bag and pillow case

Wendy loved this material called "Subtle Skies" and finished this

Yellow Brick Road quilt as a UFO project.
