KRQ November 2015 Meeting

This month John Little from Briggs & Little Woolen Mill joined us for our program.  The company has been in operation at York Mills near Harvey Station since 1857! Next June their family will celebrate that his family have been in the business for 100 years.  In the last Olympics, the Canadian team sported their wool in the closing ceremony sweaters.  John gave a brief history of the  mill, wool making and some of their products. You can take a virtual tour of the mill on their website.

Many of our members completed placemats for Meals on Wheels and we will reach our goal of 140 placemats!
